Traveling as a family can be expensive. Luckily, some airlines make it easier with discounts or free flights for kids. These deals can save you money and make family vacations more affordable.

Whether you’re flying domestically or internationally, certain airlines offer programs tailored to families. Here’s a look at three airlines that stand out.

Frontier Airlines

Frontier Airlines offers its popular Kids Fly Free program. Children aged 14 and under can fly for free on select flights.

Key Details:

  • Eligibility: One child (14 or younger) flies free for each adult (15 or older) Discount Den® fare purchased.
  • Booking: Available exclusively through Frontier’s website during the initial booking process.
  • Routes: Applicable on select domestic round-trip flights; international flights are excluded.
  • Additional Costs: The offer covers airfare only; other services like baggage and seat selection are extra.

Emirates Airlines

Emirates Airlines makes international family travel easier. Children aged 2 to 11 get discounts on airfare. The discount varies depending on the destination and booking class.

Babies under 2 years fly for free or at reduced fares if they sit on an adult’s lap. Emirates also provides special in-flight services for kids, like toys, meals, and entertainment.

This makes long-haul flights much more enjoyable. Families traveling overseas should explore Emirates’ offers for a luxurious and family-friendly experience.

Aegean Airlines

In October 2024, Aegean Airlines thrilled families with an amazing offer: kids under 12 flew free to Greece! To qualify, families needed to book a family fare, which cost slightly more than economy but included free cancellation.

The offer applied for travel from November 2024 to August 2025, covering almost a full year. Flights had to be booked by October 16, 2024.

Although this offer has passed, it’s worth keeping an eye on Aegean Airlines. They might bring back the offer in the future.

Hi, my name is Jodie Price and I have been a flight attendant for the past four years. Before that, I was a teacher at a local school. During my summer vacations from teaching, I loved to jet off on an exciting adventure whenever I could. But the flights stressed me and my friends out so much that we almost stopped vacationing altogether. Would another form of transportation be easier?
